Letter from Becca
Dear Soldier,
Thank you for your service. It means a lot for a random person to risk his/her life for my freedom. So, I just wanted to say thank you. Some things about me is that my name is Becca, I live in Germany and my birthday was yesterday so I’m thirteen and I’ll be starting eighth grade in a little more like a while. I have three younger brothers and I wanted to write to you because my dad has been deployed many times and the thing that I always hoped for was to him come back home. So, I hope you stay safe and come back to your loved ones soon and unharmed.
Love, Becca
Hey Becca,
You are very welcome for my service. I am Joseph but my friends call me joey. I live in Minot, North Dakota and was raised in Detroit, Michigan. I have fourteen siblings and I am the middle child. My birthday is coming up in February. That’s awesome your dad is in the service. Tell him I said thank you to him. Wow, Germany? That’s so cool. I want to go there. In nineteen sixty-nine my grandma was there. I have a daughter who is about to turn one in two weeks. My hobbies are motorcycles, friends, cooking, and dirt biking. What is your hobbies? Do you have any pets? I remember eighth grade. I was a track runner and cross-country runner then. Well, hope to hear from you again.
From, your new friend Joey
